Our products are highly multifunctional and designed to work just as well in isolation as they are in tandem with other products in the range. They are formulated to provide you with tailored rituals to suit your skin’s needs on any given day.

Here is a list of the bespoke blends that can be created by mixing the products together:

01 + 02 = The Saponin Scrub

02 + 05 = The Hydrophilic  Cleanse

03 + 05 = The Ampoule

04 + 05 = The Night Repair

05 + 01 = The Omega Scrub

You can find full details of all The Blends and their use here.

All our products are 100% natural and formulated with certified organic ingredients, with each product as organic as possible while still being formulated to deliver results.

The reason we choose to be organic is that organic beauty ingredients are produced without the use of as many artificial fertilisers, pesticides, or other synthetic chemicals as conventional beauty ingredients. From the outset we chose to make our products as organic as possible [while still delivering real results] as we want to make sure that the ingredients we use in our cosmetics have not been treated with the same number of synthetic pesticides or fertilisers.

Certain chemicals used as pesticides have been found to persist in the food chain and have been found to accumulate in human body tissue. Health concerns have been raised about pesticide exposure and about the ‘chemical cocktail’ often applied to non-organic food all over the world. These chemicals can penetrate the skin and seep into the body – possibly even into the bloodstream – causing potentially short-term or chronic health issues.

Organic farming doesn’t just benefit the end users of its produce, it’s also better for the environment. By being less dependent on oil-based fertilisers and pesticides, organic farming methods offer a practical model for addressing climate-friendly production of food and beauty ingredients. This method of farming also stores higher levels of carbon in the soil.

Organic farming recognises the direct connection between our health and the way that our food and our beauty products are produced. Organic farmers typically take a holistic approach that respects and harnesses the power of natural processes to build positive health across the ecology of the farm.

With skincare, it can sometimes be tricky to formulate a 100% organic product that still delivers real results, which is why some of our products our more organic than others [although every product is 100% natural]. In all cases, we are clear in our labelling how organic each product is [something many skincare companies still do not do].

Ultimately, in everything we do, we will continue to make our products in a way that delivers the best results to the environment, our producers, and – of course – to your skin.

Our products are proudly 100% vegan. We have rigorously formulated all of the products to not contain any animal derived ingredients and have also received declarations from all of our suppliers which confirm that all of  the raw materials we use have never been tested on animals.

The Moisturiser has zinc oxide in it [particularly for it’s healing properties] so it will contain a very small amount of natural SPF but it hasn’t been formulated specifically for that purpose.

When we created The Moisturiser we actually took the decision [after a lot of deliberation and research] not to include an SPF for a few reasons – the main one being that we wanted our range to be as multifunctional as possible and most importantly, suitable for all skin types. One of the great things about The Moisturiser is that it can double up as an evening overnight cream [we call ‘The Night Repair’] by blending with The Serum. An SPF wouldn’t be useful in an overnight cream and we wanted to make our product as versatile as possible.

The other reason for not including an SPF in The Moisturiser was that we wanted The Moisturiser to be suitable for all people in all locations all year round. Someone working outside all day in the summer will have a very different SPF requirement to someone working in the city in the winter with little outside exposure. In the UK [where we’re based] there is an issue with Vitamin D deficiency during the winter months given a lack of sun exposure. As the face is often the most exposed area of skin day-to-day, we didn’t want to be preventing people from being able to access Vitamin D on the days when they need it most.

The best solution to this is to use an SPF suitable to your skin type and needs on any given day on top of a hydrating moisturiser or serum high in anti-oxidants [it’s generally best to keep the two products separate anyway as when they are paired together in one product the active ingredients are often not as potent]. We generally favour using an anti-oxidant serum beneath your sunscreen, as it would not only serve the purpose of providing that extra hydration but at the same time, it would increase the effects of your sunscreen, saving your skin from any potential environmental damages. Our Serum and Essence are great for this and can work with other SPFs that can be layered on top.

You can find details of both The Moisturiser and The Serum on our SHOP page.

All of our products include powerhouse ingredients to protect and slow down the breakdown of collagen whilst also promoting cell renewal. The Moisturiser, specifically, includes Peptides which are extract from the seeds of pisum sativum L. [peas]. They work to protect collagen and elastin against the deleterious effects of proteases activated through ageing and stress while also strengthening skin elasticity and providing improved, long-lasting hygro-regulation. Even better — when combined with The Serum [The Night Repair Blend] the skin benefits from a boost of powerful phytosterols that work to strengthen the skin’s lipid barrier and also encourage new collagen production.

As we’re not in retail stores where you can try our products [given our mission to make luxury skincare more accessible to all by cutting out intermediaries]… we’ve created The Discovery Collection a mini-sized The Black Collection to try at home. The Discovery Collection includes free postage and a £10 gift card redeemable on any future full-sized purchase.

You can find The Discovery Collection here.

One of our aims from the very start has been to make a range that is suitable for everyone — including the most sensitive skin types. To achieve this, we formulate with all-natural, skin-friendly botanicals and active ingredients that are powerful enough to drive results yet gentle enough to be kind to even the most sensitive skin. We have searched far and wide for the finest allergen-free essential oils to incorporate and we boost the performance of our formulations with stress balancing adaptogens. The Wild Together is designed to be for all skin types — even the most sensitive.

If you want to check the compatibility of our products with you’re skin, we recommend The Discovery Collection — a mini-sized The Black Collection to try at home. The Discovery Collection includes free postage and a £10 gift card redeemable on any future full-sized purchase.

The full set also comes with a double-sided organic muslin cloth hand sewn by a co-operative in Kerala that we partner with who provide good working standards and wages for their employees.

No, we take every bit of care to stay away from nut oils and allergenic essential oils. Many common irritants and allergens [as listed in what we do not include] have been purposefully excluded from our products, lessening the likelihood of a reaction or intolerance. Saying that, everyone has different sensitivities so please try a test patch on a small bit of skin before using.

Our products are safe for use during pregnancy and all our essential oils are carefully chosen for their gentle, allergen free properties. We always recommend, if you still have any concerns, begin your daily applications from the second trimester onwards.

When we set out to create The Wild Together we set out to create products that were gentle and powerful enough for around the eyes without the need for a separate eye cream.

The Essence and The Moisturiser, in particular, are designed to work wonders around the eyes.

All our packaging is recyclable – and we avoid plastic wherever possible.

All our products come wrapped in recyclable card, the card inserts are printed on 100% recycled card stock and we only use glass to contain our products given

In everything we do, we source, create and share our products in a way that honours people, animals, and our planet. We are committed to conscious sustainability – from the way we source our ingredients [through biodynamic farms and local producers] to the recyclable materials we select.

We will continue to look for ways to improve how we can minimise our carbon footprint and enhance the positive impact that we can have on the environment.

Also known as supercritical CO2 extracts, CO2 extracts are extremely pure plant extracts produced from a relatively new and highly efficient extraction process.

The CO2 extraction process consists of pumping pressurised carbon dioxide into a chamber filled with plant matter. This differs from traditional methods that use steam or hydrodistillation, or chemical solvents such as hexane, heptane or ethanol. Steam distillation using high temperatures can negatively alter the molecular composition of the plant matter, producing an inferior product – while harmful solvents like hexane can cause environmental pollution and potential human bodily harm.

CO2 extracts use lower heat and so the molecular structure of the plant remains in tact, meaning that the extracts typically contain more constituents found in the plant and more closely resemble the original plants chemical make up [and could be considered to contain a fuller spectrum of constituents from the plant]. This also means that the aroma of the extract more closely resembles the plant’s original state.

In short, CO2 extraction produces superior herbal extracts that are completely non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and more potent. This type of extract is actually up to 200x more potent than traditionally extracted plant materials, which is why we favour this extraction method in our formulations where possible.

Yes, our products are formulated in London, England, and we work with local suppliers and co-operatives where possible [one of our suppliers, for example, is a biodynamic farm in the north of the UK].

We adhere to cosmetic product safety regulations set by the EU, which means that our products are fit to be marketed within the EU.

The Sanitiser
Active + Botanical Benefits
Actives

Ethanol
Ethanol is a proven aid to preventing transmission of infectious agents and widely accepted as one of the most important infection control measures to prevent infectious disease transmission. The antimicrobial activity of ethanol can be attributed to its ability to denature and coagulate proteins. The microorganism’s cells are then lysed, and their cellular metabolism is disrupted. The activity is broad and immediate. Ethanol [the most common alcohol sanitising ingredient], appears to be the most effective against viruses.

D-Panthenol
D-Panthenol is the provitamin—a precursor, or substance that the body can convert into a specific vitamin—for B5. When panthenol is applied topically, it’s quickly converted into vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid. B5 binds to and holds water effectively, moisturising the skin and helping it maintain softness and elasticity. Panthenol has also been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect and to boost skin barrier function.

Botanicals

Vegetable Glyerin
Glycerin is hygroscopic — meaning it can draw moisture from the air around us and help keep that moisture in skin, thus minimising trans epidermal water loss [due to evaporation]. Research has shown that glycerin mimics what’s known as skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which is why it’s compatible with all skin types, of all ages. Replenishing skin’s NMF is important because it becomes depleted as we age, are subject to environmental exposure, and use irritating ingredients.

Sandalwood
Sandalwood is very mild but still has a powerful effect on the skin. Due to its antiseptic properties it prevents rashes, heals itching and inflammation, cools and soothes skin and moisturises and tones the skin with mild astringent action. In aromatherapy, inhaling the aroma of sandalwood oil or absorbing it through the skin is thought to transmit messages to parts of the brain involved in controlling emotions, known as the limbic system. These messages are believed to affect both an emotional and physiological response.

Carrot Seed
The benefits of carrot seed oil include antifungal and antibacterial qualities, due to the bioflavonoids it contains. Rich in vitamins A, C, B1, B2 and various essential fatty acids, carrot seed is incredibly skin-repairing to dry and damaged skin. It also contains a large amount of vitamin E, which is great for adding and retaining moisture in the skin.

Patchouli Oil
Patchouli oil, which contains several mono- and sesquiterpenoids, alkaloids, and flavonoids, is thought to possess significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities. In fact, it is reputed to impart antiviral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects, and is also known to protect the skin barrier function. Studies have found that patchouli oil exerts significant antibacterial activity against staphylococcus bacteria. Patchouli is commonly used in aromatherapy for its ability to calm depression. It encourages the release of serotonin and dopamine; two hormones which ease feelings of anger and anxiety.

Lavender
Along with the other benefits commonly found in botanical ingredients [anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial], lavender is unique in its proven ability to boost blood circulation. This enables more brightening oxygen and nutrients to reach the skin’s surface. It can also protect and promote the skin’s natural barrier, plus balance its pH levels. Aromatically, this oil, rich in esters and alcohols, is useful for when fighting depression as well as anxiety and stress, helping to relax the mind, proving to be interesting in its application at a time of increased tension.

Clove Bud
Clove owes its medicinal benefits to its antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antiviral and stimulating properties, and is one of the richest sources of antioxidants. Clove oil contains a chemical called eugenol that acts as an antiseptic and antibacterial agent. With the help of these properties it can treat cuts and wounds and fight against fungal infections. Clove bud essential oil is used in aromatherapy to stimulate circulation and arousal of the mind and body allowing you to achieve mental clarity.

Bergamot
Thanks to its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, bergamot is a natural cleanser. It can help to tone the skin, soothe skin irritation, and heal cuts and scars. Bergamot is also rich in polyphenols that have strong antioxidant effects to help protect the skin from free radical damage. Aromatically, bergamot is one of the best oils to support the central nervous system — it’s known to be calming to the spirit.
